As a formerly incarcerated individual, I was faced with many challenges that seemed like any form of stability was out of the question. Time after time and year after year I found myself being re incarcerated with no hope in my future. I then found myself in a faith-based home where I surrendered my life to Christ and was able to turn my life around. I left behind the lifestyle that continued to bring me down. I am now a Re-entry Specialist with The Good Samaritan Project and provide assistance to those coming out of incarceration reach self-sufficiency and to find a better way of life. Now, as I am a member of the LEAB, I am able to provide a voice for those who are in need of assistance to better navigate a system that carries with it the many challenges that I once faced.
